To Our Esteemed Customer: Thank You for Your Purchase!
To ensure a successful repair and the best experience, please read the following information carefully before proceeding. This will help you avoid common issues and protect your device.
Part 1: Before & Upon Receiving Your Item (The First Critical Step)
1. Verify Your Model:
β’ Double-check your iPhone's exact model (e.g., iPhone 16 Pro Max, not just "iPhone 16").
β’ Our flex cables are model-specific. Cables for iPhone 15 and 16 series, or standard and Pro models, may not be interchangeable. You are responsible for ordering the correct part.
2. Inspect Upon Arrival:
β’ Inspect the flex cable immediately in good lighting upon receipt.
β’ Focus on: The BTB connectors (gold pins)βensure they are flat, undamaged, with no bent pins or prior insertion marks. Check the FPC for any folds, cracks, or damage. Examine the USB-C port for physical defects.
β’ If you notice ANY physical damage, contact customer support WITH PHOTOS/VIDEO immediately. Do NOT install it! Installation constitutes acceptance of the item's physical condition.
Part 2: Pre-Repair Preparation (The Foundation for Success)
1. Tools & Environment:
β’ Professional tools are REQUIRED: Precision screwdriver set (including Pentalobe, Phillips), plastic spudgers, suction cup, anti-static wrist strap. Using incorrect or poor-quality tools greatly increases the risk of damaging your phone.
β’ Prepare your workspace: Operate on a clean, dry, well-lit, and static-free surface. An anti-static mat and wrist strap are highly recommended.
2. Knowledge & Mindset:
β’ You MUST watch detailed, complete disassembly/assembly tutorials SPECIFIC to your exact iPhone model before starting. We recommend watching 2-3 times to understand the full process and tricky steps.
β’ Self-repair carries risks: These include, but are not limited to, damaging the screen, logic board, Face ID failure, loss of water resistance, and voiding your Apple warranty. Please ensure you understand and accept these risks.
β’ The most important step: Back up your iPhone completely via iCloud or a computer before any repair attempt, no exceptions.
Part 3: Crucial Notes During Installation
1. Safety First β Disconnect the Battery!
β’ Once the iPhone is opened, the FIRST and MOST CRITICAL step is to disconnect the battery connector immediately. Working on a powered device is a leading cause of logic board damage.
2. Screw Management β Organization is Key!
β’ Screws inside the iPhone vary in length and thread. We strongly advise using a magnetic project mat or drawing a simple "screw map" to ensure every screw goes back in its exact location. Installing a screw in the wrong hole (especially a long screw) can cause permanent damage to the logic board or other components!
3. Flex Cable Installation β Handle with Care!
β’ When installing the new flex cable, ensure the BTB connectors are perfectly aligned before pressing down vertically until they click or feel snug. Do not use excessive force.
β’ Reinstall all screws in their original locations with moderate torque.
4. Pre-Assembly Testing β The Vital Verification!
β’ You MUST connect the battery and power on the device for testing BEFORE applying new adhesive and sealing the screen!
β’ Essential tests include:
βͺ Charging: Using a known-good USB-C to C cable and charger.
βͺ Data Transfer: Connect to a computer to verify recognition and file transfer.
βͺ Audio: Test the bottom speaker and call microphone (make a recording).
βͺ Other Functions: Ensure the Taptic Engine (vibration) works.
β’ Only after confirming ALL functions work correctly should you power down, disconnect the battery, and proceed with final assembly. If any test fails, re-check the cable installation or contact support immediately.
Part 4: Important Product Notes
1. Functionality & Compatibility:
β’ This is a high-quality replacement part designed to fully restore core functions: charging, data sync, and audio.
β’ For high-speed data transfer (e.g., USB 3.0, 10Gbps on Pro models) or video output features, we guarantee physical connectivity. However, actual speeds can be affected by multiple factors (logic board, cable, host device) and are not a 100% guaranteed specification.
β’ iOS Compatibility Warnings: Future Apple iOS updates may include detection for non-genuine parts. While charging port cables currently have a low probability of triggering "Unknown Part" warnings, we cannot guarantee they never will, as this is determined by Apple's software policies, not a defect in the part.
2. Regarding Water Resistance:
β’ Even with a new adhesive seal installed carefully, a self-repaired iPhone will NOT regain its original factory IP68 water resistance rating. We strongly advise you to treat your repaired device as non-water-resistant and avoid contact with liquids.
Part 5: Warranty & Disclaimer (Please Read Carefully)
1. Quality Assurance:
β’ We guarantee the flex cable is new, physically intact, and fully functional upon delivery.
β’ Our warranty covers only functional defects of the cable itself under normal installation and use (e.g., failure to charge or transmit audio without cause).
2. Warranty Exclusions (Common Dispute Points):
β’ Damage to the cable or the iPhone resulting from improper installation (reversed insertion, prying damage, incorrect screws causing board damage, ESD damage, etc.).
β’ Issues discovered only after full reassembly without prior testing.
β’ Damage caused by using non-standard tools or an improper work environment.
β’ Pre-existing or unrelated issues with the iPhone.
β’ Claims for compensation of labor costs, data loss, or other indirect damages.
3. A Friendly Recommendation:
β’ If you are not entirely confident in your technical skills, we recommend having a professional local repair technician install the part for you. Paying a reasonable service fee can save time, prevent frustration, and protect your device.
We wish you a successful repair! If you have any questions BEFORE beginning the installation, please contact our customer support. Once you begin, please follow this guide closely.
